Ride
the Rainbow on Kauai
with
Esprit De Corps Riding Academy
Horseback trail rides,
arena lessons, and animal therapies are part of the complete horse experience.
Sustainability, fun, and safety are major themes. Kaua`i, known as the Garden
Island, is the most lush of the Hawai`ian islands and is filled with rainbows.
We offer true eco-tours
with knowledgeable guides who willingly share information on our plant and
animal life, Hawaiis volcanic origins, history of the islands, and what
it is like to live in Hawaii. We lead small group and private horseback trail
rides with trotting and cantering for experienced riders in a lush mountain
forest reserve near Kapaa. Beginner trail rides are offered, too, as well
as Spiritual Exploration Rides and Weddings on Horseback All trail rides start
with a mini lesson in the arena to insure safety and fun, and then we ride
into the mountains to see the interior of the island. We provide and require
the wearing of riding boots and helmets. We also provide a pack with bottled
water (we recycle) and a raincoat.
English and Western lessons
in the arena for ages 6 and up are a popular alternative to trail riding.
These can include basic skills development, games on horseback, western riding,
dressage, an introduction to Healing Touch for Animals, TTouch, or personal
growth through horse interaction.
